South 3rds suffered a disappointing reverse as they came up short at fellow strugglers 3NW St. Ives.

South struggled to impose their structure on a game that instead became end-to-end. Despite the midfield often being bypassed Adam Cho impressed in there on his South debut. South also went ahead through a rare goal from wing-back Danny McCree, just his second for the club in 75+ appearances and his first since November 2019. His strike was to prove for naught though when St. Ives got the winner five minutes from time, a string of penalty corners eventually resulting in a goal.
