The Good, The Sort of Good, and The Time for Someone to Start to Listen

Sean Gardiner

South arrived full of hope off the back of a brilliant win. For the first half it was looking good. We took it to a Saints team with good young players and good older players in 0-0 even half. Both sides happy but South probably the happier.

Second half 2 minutes played 1-0 Saints. Not good but their best player scored. Not too bad, still in it . Then 2-0 came, believed by defence to be above the back board nor a South stick. However the umpire was not for turning.

That's when everyone needs to shhhh Sean up but passion comes in to play; naughty Sean advised to sub off for 10 minutes again to think about it, before later getting a yellow for dissent.

All in all everyone played well and the team is improving in every way. MoM Dan some great saves and good directions from back. LoM Andy - not sure why - tad unlucky with that one should be Sean for being a standard sean and losing his temper [Editor’s note: a number of people felt yellow was a sufficient punishment and I had to take one for the team!]

For employing Ky as his caddy. And helping George find the correct car park.
