Wisbech Mixed Hockey Festival 2008

A mixed 11-a-side tournament on grass and astroturf hosted by Wisbech Town Hockey Club. We will be taking a squad of 14, minimum 6 ladies and 6 men.

Cambridge South has entered teams at Wisbech before. Last year was particularly notable for James Raikes damaging his teeth while playing in goal when body-slammed by the opposition keeper in a Zulu start, James Pope drinking a whole case of beer before, after and even during matches and Simon Ta doing his "Bangkok Chick-Boy" impression playing up front (in every sense) in a bikini.

Pictures from the South team who went to last year's tournament are available here and here. Photos from this year's tournament are in the Gallery.
