Men's 4ths get thrashed by a strong and experienced Cambridge City 5

It was sunny.

We tried to play as a team, passing sensibly, finding space, and putting some good moves together.

We had some chances, from Monck(N), Greaves, and Raikes but their keeper was more than up to saving the ones on target.

We never gave up; the midfield tracked back, the defence fought bravely, and Shahzad made numerous great saves.

Phil Harvey was full of tricks.

Everyone actually played OK.

Newcomers Joe Whittaker and Charlie Crowther acquitted themselves very well, in a losing cause.

The opposition were good.

Ah well.
