The ladies 1s continued their undefeated pre-season run with a 5-1 win at home against St Ives. Our first goal came from a beautiful short corner routine, with Alice slipping the ball to Jess who sent it home (no, not to Finn. To the back of the net). St Ives quickly rallied and equalised. I can't remember how it happened but at least Loopy saw some on-pitch action this week. Alice scored a couple of beauties, one of which was a Barton-esque reverse sweep. Then Kylie made a run in to the D and finished with a successful shot in to the top corner. This resulted in her being winded and having to drop back to defence, sending Diane to the dizzying heights of the attacking D. After 60 seconds up there she selflessly passed the ball to Naomi who scored again. Do we have a new attacker on our hands?

The midfield worked tirelessly with great running from Lucy, Kim and Claire. Julie, Emma and Diane were strong in defence, clearing the ball well and making some great runs. Lets continue this winning streak in the league next week.

Now for the most important question of the week: Are jelly babies really the best half-time snack? Comments below please

Didn't play this week. Is she in hiding after making national news? Did the lobster suit almost make it out in public?
