The Perse Under 18A team showed why they are the current national champions indoor at their age group with a comprehensive victory against South. With few players available, the team were alwyas going to have to dig deep and can actually take several positives from the style of play they maintained. Too often though the ball was lost on or before the halfway line with play stretched and a fit, skillful Perse team punished these mistakes with with well-executed finishes.

Manu Bhardwaj made a very encouraging debut and Tom South again worked hard, in spite of recent illness, but South need to forget about this result and look for some positive results in their next few league outings.
