Despite an opposition determined to cut out their scoring opportunities, the South Ladies' 2nd team looked stronger from the start against St Neots 4s. The well established midfield pairing of Rebecca Baker and Charlie Orrock dominated attacking play and were responsible for 3 of the goals, putting South into a commanding position at halftime. St Neots rallied in the second half and put some sustained pressure on the South defence, forcing keeper Louise Tonkin to make some dramatic saves but south proved too strong and ran out worthy winners.
