One Sunny Day

Laura Edge

It was a glorious day to end the season. The sun was shining and the team were mentally well prepared for the game, which we thought would be competitive but with a possible chance of success. The CSHC L3s scored early in the first half and continued to create chances. It was 1-0 at half time and a very pleased team tucked into sweets to revive themselves.

In the second half CSHC were able to score a second goal, which was quickly followed by a goal from Newmarket. Strong defence, including some amazing keeping from Lydia (a save in the top left corner hit out by the stick) resulted in a 2-1 win for the L3s. This is just the third win of the season, and a great way to end for the summer break.
