As the cliché goes, this was a game of two halves. Cambridge South 4ths, sponsored by PwC, dominated the first half without getting the breakthrough with St Neots' goalkeeper making a number of good saves.

The second half a different story, a combination of St Neots 5ths picking themselves up and CS 4ths trying to be a bit too adventurous by pushing an extra man up, thus allowing 'a hole' to develop just in front of the defence of which St Neots took full advantage. CSHC did well to keep St Neots at bay and the full time score was a fair result of 0-0.
