South suffered a uninspiring defeat away to Rutland, Unfortunately only 10 players turned up to travel and one of them, Jake Davis, was carrying a hamstring injury. This led to a late arrival at the ground and no time to warm up or get organised. Skipper JB manfully stood in as keeper and Rupert Espley scored a good goal but, despite the best efforts of all players, Rutland ran out winners by one goal.
