Once upon a time there were fifteen intrepid hockey adventurers and a self-proclaimed really short sighted umpire. The weather was good, for once. As playing goes, we had many opportunities. However, Newmarket took advantage of these opportunities. The South goalie took Lemon of the Match, by successfully taking out her own player. Despite being hopeful of winning due to previous encounters with the Newmarket teams, we were unable to grasp the victory we so desired. Even Ali's substitution plan broke down. But on the plus side, new player Natalie took Man of the Match with some phenomenal play. Bring on next week.
