Men's 2nds beat Bourne 4

Andy Lewis

Souths goals came from Lewis who bundled in an Adlington shot which came off the post after a surging run from Steve Fleck, playing his second game in as many weeks for the 2nds.

Dan decided to stop messing around soon after when a "Vincent special" penetrating cross from the left wing position found Dan Adlington who "Bergkamped" his defender to place his shot neatly inside the goal and away from the keepers reach.

Adlington's second was a less spectacular effort but assisted again by Vincent's cross and Greaves's deft flick to create space for Dan to tap in from close range.

A penalty flick awarded to Bourne gave them a chance to get into the game. They scored from it but Matt Murray ensured thoughts of a recovery were short lived and ill-conceived with a well taken fourth. (Sorry mate can't remember the full details!) Tim Poole played well too!
